Hat boxes

Car boot sales and charity shops are a craft bunny’s delight with lots of opportunities to buy upcycling projects at bargain prices. It’s amazing what you can do to transform a sad-looking object into something  special with just a little imagination and a belief that pumpkins really can become carriages.

I bought three very sad hat boxes for a mere £2 and decided to experiment with some Decopatch papers I had left over from previous projects. It didn’t take long to decorate all three, and whilst I would chose different papers next time, I am pleased with the results bearing in mind everything I used was from existing stash.

Not everyone has hats to put in boxes but they are great for general storage and they look so pretty on top of the wardrobe 😀
